MOON AND FEMALE
The Palau Antiguitats' Graphic Arts Office is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing (20 July 1969) with an exhibition dedicated to the Earth's only natural satellite. "Moon and Female" brings together nearly a hundred pieces: prints, drawings, photographs and even some objects. Each one reflects the fascination and interest that contemplating the moon has sparked in humankind since time immemorial.
Featured at the exhibition are works by artists such as Francisco de Goya, William Hogarth, Hendrick Goltzius, Modest Urgell, Félicien Rops, Gustave Doré, Ramon Calsina, Joan Miró and Perejaume.
